Donna C. Williams

Mrs. Donna C. Williams, 84, of Meadville, widow of M. Ward Williams, who was a longtime secretary manager of Meadville Chamber of Commerce, died Tuesday, January 27, 1970, at Mead Nursing Home where she had been a patient for the past six months.

Mrs. Williams was born at Crawfordsville, IN, September 29, 1885, a daughter of Marion and Lucinda Myers Clodfelter.  Her husband, who became chamber of commerce secretary in 1926, died in 1945.

Mrs. Williams was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Rota Literary Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Marian Williams of Meadville; a son, Franklin C. Williams of Rochester, NY; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A son, Marshall Ward Williams, Jr., preceded her in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
