Doris C. Dodge

Mrs. Doris C. Dodge, 85, of Meadville, died Wednesday, August 13, 1969, at Mead Nursing Home following a long illness.  She had been at the home for a year.

She was born May 19, 1884, in Masonville, NY, a daughter of Frank D. and Ella Harris.

Following the death of her first husband, Oliver F. Cox, she married Charles L. Dodge on April 11, 1923.  He died in 1965.

Mrs. Dodge was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Bernard H. Cox of Meadville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Byham and Mrs. Annabelle Hughes, both of Meadville; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
