Mrs. Dorothy I. Zaar, 60, of Novi, MI, wife of Charles Zaar, died at Grace Hospital, Detroit, on Friday, March 29, 1974, after a short illness. She had been hospitalized two days.
She was born in Meadville on September 18, 1913, a daughter of Clifford and Etta Beatty Walton. She was a member of Wayland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Nancy) Byham of Mt. Vernon, OH, Mrs. Richard (Doris) Crago of Meadville and Miss Donna Stainbrook of Oak Park, MI; a son, Edwin Stainbrook of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Theodore (Marian) Burton of Meadville; a brother, Charles Walton of Meadville and nine grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Wayland.
