Dorothy J. Stephens

Dorothy J. Stephens, 56, resident of the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, a secretary, died Friday, October 11, 1991, at Meadville Medical Center following a period of failing health.

She was born in Meadville, June 6, 1935, a daughter of George and Helen Finney Stiles.  She had been married to Richard D. Stephens.

She had been employed as an office secretary at Talon, Inc. and later was employed as an office secretary at the former Kerrtown Elementary School.

Survivors include a son, Matthew D. Stephens of Meadville; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. George (Ella) Stiles of Meadville and an aunt.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Stevens.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
