Dorothy S. Mullen

Mrs. Dorothy S. Mullen, 68, wife of Neil N. Mullen of Meadville, died Saturday, March 3, 1979, at City Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born February 24, 1911, at Washington, PA, a daughter of George F. and Margaret McWright South.  She married Mullen on July 9, 1936.

She retired in 1971 from the nursing staff at City Hospital.  She was a graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing in 1929 and attended Dennys Chapel.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Veo (Margaret) Boozel of Fort Wayne, IN; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Cattron of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Dennys Cemetery.
