Dorothy S. Myers, 83, of Meadville, died Wednesday, February 17, 1999, at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Dodgeville, OH, September 1, 1915, a daughter of Neal and Iva Porter Sackett. She married Robert W. Myers September 9, 1939 and he preceded her in death December 31, 1993.
She was a graduate of City Hospital School of Nursing, member of Mead Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, former member of City Hospital's Ladies Advisory Committee and a volunteer with the American Red Cross.
Survivors, include three sons, Robert E. Myers of Meadville, Gary A. Myers of Mt. Pleasant, SC and James W. Myers of Orlando, FL; a sister, Marjorie Calvin of Meadville; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Lang and a brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
