Earl F. Cleis
October 13, 1918 — March 28, 1991
Earl F. Cleis, 72, of Meadville, a Sunbeam Equipment retiree, died Thursday, March 28, 1991, at Meadville Care Center following an illness of two years.
He was born in Pittsburgh October 13, 1918. He married Charlotte Lind on March 24, 1941.
He retired from Sunbeam Equipment Corp. in 1983 following 25 years of service. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and of Elks Lodge 219. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, William E. Cleis of Arlington, VA and a daughter, Barbara Neuroh of Erie, one sister and three brothers. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Erie.
