Earl I. Baumgardner

Earl L. Baumgardner, 83, of Meadville, died Saturday, November 13, 1976, at Mead Nursing Home where he had been a resident for three years.

He was born in Elton, Cambria County, December 28, 1892.  He married Minnie Kaufman July 15, 1915.  She died in 1972.  Employed as a machine operator by the former Palmer Tool, Co., he also was employed briefly by the maintenance department of Allegheny College.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Johnstown Odd Fellows Lodge.

Survivors include:  two daughters, Mrs. George (Mary) Schrall of Natrona Heights; Mrs. Maurice (Mae) Smith of Coffeyville, KA; a son, Ernest D. Baumgardner of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Olive Holstein of Detroit; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Interment was in Richland Cemetery, Cambria County.
