Edith M. Terrill

Edith M. Terrill, 88, formerly of Guys Mills and Saegertown, died Thursday, January 13, 1983, at City Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She had been a resident of Mead Nursing Home since October 1981.

She was born September 9, 1894, in Wayne Township, Crawford County, a daughter of John and Kate Reisinger Reese.  Her first husband, Harry R. Gourly, died 1924.  Her second husband, Harley J. Terrill, died 1959.

Mrs. Terrill was a member of United Church of Guys Mills.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clare (Marian) Hunter of Saegertown; three step daughters, Mrs. Stella Morrison of Falconer, NY, Mrs. Lois Stainbrook of North Ridgeville, OH and Mrs.Geraldine Erlin of Meadville; one son, John R. Gourly of Venango County; three stepsons, Marshall of Erie, Merton of Guys Mills and Dewey of Blooming Valley; several nieces and nephews; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
