Edmond W. Barr
January 28, 1919 — December 20, 1974
Edmond W. Barr, 55, of Meadville, died at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, Friday, December 20, 1974.
He was born in Pittsburgh on January 28, 1919, a son of Harmer and Estella Heath Barr. He married Geraldine Allen on September 7, 1946.
Mr. Barr last was employed as a carpenter by Shartle and Walker Building Contractors. He previously was employed as manager of Overhead Door Co. for 10 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pine Masonic Lodge 498 of Linesville; was past high priest of Soloman Royal Arch Chapter; Northwestern Commandery No. 25, Knights Templar; Timothy Alden Council, all of Meadville; Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie and Crawford County Shrine Club.
Survivors include his widow; a brother, Harmer H. (Ham) Barr of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
