Edward A. Berly

Edward A. Berly, 82, of Meadville, died Thursday, April 18, 1985 at City Hospital following a period of failing health.

He was born at Frenchtown, May 15, 1902, a son of Leon and Mary Brunot Berly.

He married Lillian M. Ross on July 15, 1935.  She survives.

Mr. Berly had retired in 1967 from his work as a laboratory technician in the Polit Product Department at Talon, Inc., after 35 years of service.  He was a member of St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church.  He belonged to Taylor Hose Co.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Rose) Geier of Cleveland, OH; a son, Thomas Edward Berly of North Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Blanche) DeArment and Mrs. Marian Rosemond; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Agatha's Church.

Entombment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum.
