Edward Lee Shannon

Edward Lee Shannon, 77, longtime resident of Meadville, died Tuesday afternoon at Cleveland where he had been in poor health recently and suffered a number of strokes.

He was born in Mercer County but spent most of his life in Meadville before moving to Cleveland.

Surviving are three sons, Wallace, Orion and Frank and one daughter, Mrs. Grace Gibson, all of Meadville; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
