Edwin T. Higby

Edwin T. (Ted) Higby, 79, of Meadville, died at home Friday, December 18, 1978, after a long illness. Born in Townville, January 4, 1899, he was a son of Ray and Emma Percival Higby. He was married to Leone DeMaison. He retired in 1971 as an auto mechanic for the PA Department of Transportation. He was a life member of Meadville Elks Lodge. In addition to his widow, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Beatrice) VanAmburg of Meadville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
