Effie Morehead Ross

Mrs. Effie Morehead Ross, 73, widow of James E. Ross, of Meadville, died this morning following an extended illness.

Mrs. Ross spent her early life in the Townville area and in 1928, moved to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edward A. Berly.  She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and its Ellen B Cares Class and Meadville Grange.

Surviving are Mrs. Berly and another daughter, Mrs. Lucille Dickson of Meadville; three sons, Charles L. of Davenport, Iowa, Stanley I of Philadelphia and Frank E. of Meadville; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Borghi of Beaver Falls and Mrs. Anna Johnson of Fredonia, NY.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
