Eleanor Cole

Eleanor (Nornie) Cole, 85, was a former member of Eagles Aerie 429 Auxiliary and Elks Lodge 219 Auxiliary, both of Meadville. She was a member of First Christian Church of Meadville. She retired as an assembler at Talon, Inc. of Meadville. Cole, of Meadville, died Wednesday, May 25, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Hastings, September 2, 1908, a daughter of William S. and Dora Mae Bennett Griffith. She married Duane Eddy. She subsequently married Robert Cole, July 2, 1955. He preceded her in death April 24, 1981. Survivors include a son, Richard Eddy of Bullhead City, AZ; several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. David (Janet) Marvin of Guys Mills; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Jess, Rex, Warren, Carl, Newell, Clarence, Daryl, and Floyd Griffith; two infant brothers; and an infant sister. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Services Past Services
