Elizabeth H. Howard

Elizabeth H. Howard, 88, formerly of Westford, died Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at St. Paul Homes, Greenville following a period of declining health.

She was born in Hartstown, PA, March 10, 1912, a daughter of the late Norman and Sara McQueen Hay.  She married Norman Howard November 7, 1959 and he preceded in death April 6, 1987.

She attended the Meadville Business School and retired from the Credit Department of Talon after 35 years of service.  She was a member of the Hartstown Presbyterian Church, where she was a former Clerk of Session, Trustee, organist and choir director.  She was also a member of the Westford Flower Club and the Tuesday Morning Music Club.

Survivors include two nephews, Neil Bentley (Ruth) of Espyville and Harry Bentley (Doris) of Erie; and three nieces, Helen Marsh (Paul) of Linesville, Ruth Vickery (Robert) of Andover, OH and Norma Fath (Frank) of Conneaut Lake.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bentley.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
