Elizabeth Irene Proper

Elizabeth Irene Proper, 63, of Titusville, died Monday, March 13, 1989, at Franklin Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Townville, March 13, 1926, the daughter of Clark W. and Susan Shoey Howard.  She married Fred L. Proper, Sr. December 30, 1942.  He preceded her in death on October 2, 1983.  She retired in 1979 from the Sylvania Co., Titusville after 28 years as an inspector.

Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth L. Muddiman of Titusville; one son, Fred L. Proper, Jr. of Titusville; three sisters, Eleanor Shade of Titusville, Sara Bowers of Uniontown and Katherine Bossard of Linesville and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Howard and one sister, Margaret Howard.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
