Elizabeth L. Mcfate

Miss Elizabeth L. McFate, 88, better known as Aunt Beth, died Monday, September 6, 1965, at her home in Meadville.

She was born at Cochranton, November 21, 1876, a daughter of Joseph S. and Nancy Ann Greer McFate.  She was supervisor of accounting for Pittsburgh National Bank for 23 years and had retired after 15 years employment in the office of the Children's Aid Society and Home for the Aged, now Hillside Home.

Miss McFate was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  She was a graduate of Cochranton High School and of Edinboro State Normal School.

She is survived by a niece, Mrs. D. L. Agnew of Menomonie, WI; two nephews, Dr. J. M. Godard of Washington, DC and George E. List of Meadville; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
