Elizabeth Prenatt Doubet

Mrs. Elizabeth Prenatt Doubet, 86, died last night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Walter J. Chisholm, of Meadville.

She was the widow of Augustin Doubet, Frenchtown-area farmer, and had been ill only a short time.

She was born November 6, 1863, in Randolph Township and had lived most of her life in the Frenchtown community.  She was a lifelong member of St. Hippolyte's RC Church at Frenchtown.

Surviving are a son, Renna Doubet of Wayne Township; three daughters, Mrs. William Shaffner of Butler, Miss Irene Doubet and Mrs. Chisholm, both of Meadville; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Mr.s Lovina Brenot of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
