Ella Hishman

Mrs. Ella Hishman, 90, of Meadville, died Friday, March 13, 1964, at Smith Institute, Saegertown, where she had been a patient a week.  She previously had been a patient at Spencer Hospital for two months.

Mrs. Hishman was born at Drakes Mills, February 21, 1874, a daughter of E. Christian and Mary Kanengeiser Hornaman.  She was the widow of Edward Hishman whom she married January 8, 1894, and was a member of Stone Methodist Church and its Beacon of Light Class and Woman's Society of Christian Service.  She also was a member of Meadville Grange.

Surviving are a son, William D. Hishman of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. A. E. (Henrietta) Rose of Erie; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
