Ellis P. Sikes

Ellis P. Sikes, 90, of Meadville, died Tuesday, August 25, 1987, at home following a period of failing health.

He was born in Guys Mills on April 16, 1897, a son of Ira and Rose Hill Sikes.  He married Rowena M. Bump on February 2, 1920.

He was retired as a tool and die maker for Talon after 35 years of service.  He was a member of International Assn. of Machinist for 40 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Margery) Faul of Meadville; and three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
