E. Jean Davis, 93, of Stoneboro died June 5, 2025 at Quality Life Services Mercer from Alzheimer's disease.
Jean was born July 1,1931, to the late James V. "Vernie" and Mildred Shepard Harbison in West Deer township, Allegheny County. She was a graduate of West Deer High School where she was head majorette.
Jean married Ernest Kelley, the father of her children, in 1950. She later married Charles Davis.
She was a nursing home administrator at Valley View Nursing Home in Cheswick.
Jean was a member of Stoneboro Presbyterian Church where she served on Session and prepared funeral dinners. She served for many years as treasurer of Lakeview Meals on Wheels. She was a talented seamstress and amateur artist. A past member of the Lakeview Area Arts Guild of Mercer County, she had an exceptional eye for color. Jean was an avid Steelers fan who would listen to games on the radio when not televised.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by daughter Cynthia (Mark) Erskine, Florida, son Patrick (Mary) Kelley, Stoneboro, stepdaughter Sharon Buzzie, PA, grandchildren Michael Kelley, Douglas (Marina) Kelley, Kelley Elder, Dr. Colton Erskine, great grandson Leo Kelley, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, brother Jim Harbison, and niece Cathy Cinpinski.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. In accordance with her wishes, Jean has been cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
