Elsie Garrison Hilliard

Mrs. Elsie Garrison Hilliard, 82, wife of Lewis M. Hilliard of Meadville, died at her home Thursday, October 8, 1959, after a short illness.

Mrs. Hilliard was born in Geneva, November 8, 1876, a daughter of David M. and Anna Sutton Garrison.  She moved here from Franklin in 1912.  She married Hilliard April 8, 1899.  She was  a member of the First Baptist Church and of its Eva Geil Missionary Society.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Coy of Meadville and Mrs. Grace Marsh of Logansport, IN; a brother, Roy Garrison of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
