Mrs. Elsie R. Hanrahan, 85, died Saturday night at the Erie Conference Methodist Home for the Aged where she had been a resident for three years.
The widow of Edward A. Hanrahan, she was formerly of Clarion and a daughter of Gideon and Anna Dunkle Slaugenhoupt. She was born in Clarington, Forest County, June 2, 1872.
She was a member of Clarion Methodist Church, and Clarion Chapter 267, Order of Eastern Star.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Clarion Cemetery.
