Emmit E. Kiltlinger, 85, a resident of Peaceful Rest Home, Cochranton, since 1998 and formerly of Meadville, died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at his residence following a period of declining health.
He was born February 5, 1915 in Hydetown, a son of the late Earl E. and Margaret Boldoc Kiltlinger. He married Mabel Schaible Hueston in November 1953 and she preceded him in death January 3, 1994.
He attended Hydetown Schools and worked for 15 years as a machinist at Erie Strayer retiring in 1982. He previously worked as a machinist for 20 years at Titusville Forgeworks. He enjoyed playing cards and watching television.
He was of protestant faith.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Leora) White of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
