Emory L. Holbrook, age 87, of Meadville, passed away on Thursday morning January 22, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center TCU Grove Street.
He was born in Meadville on July 5, 1938, the son of Lloyd R. and Frances A. (Randall) Holbrook.
Emory was a graduate of Randolph High School and attended Kings Point in New York. On September 5, 1995, Emory married the former Bonnie Burt, she survives.
He was founder and owner of Holbrook Tool for many years. He sang with Yesterday’s Sound Barbershop Quartet. Emory enjoyed antiquing, cars, and spending time with family. He had a sweet tooth and loved ice cream.
In addition to his wife of 30 years he is survived by three sons, Jeff Holbrook and his companion Julie of New York, Zachary Holbrook and his companion Michael of New York, Joshua Holbrook and his wife Eileen of Carlisle, PA; two daughters, Monica Krieder and her husband Frank of Hermitage, Marla Garts and her companion Ben of Meadville; four siblings, Paul Holbrook and his wife Janice of Scotland, PA, Mark Holbrook and his wife Lisa of Idaho Falls, Sharon Lavely of Troy, IL, Kristi McGarvey and her husband Dan of Philadelphia; six grandchildren, Angela, Austin, Allison, Anna, Adam, and Alyssa; two great granddaughters, Hadley Ann and Alice, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Geraldine Hogan.
There will be no services per Emory’s request. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE.
