Estelle G. Hardwick

Mrs. Estelle G. Hardwick, 74, wife of Walter S. Hardwick, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Sunday December 30, 1979, after a three-months illness.

She was born near Sheakleyville, June 6, 1905, daughter of Harvey and Effie Bell Free.  She married Hardwick May 5, 1965.  She had been employed for a number of years as a clerk at Montomgery Wards.  She was a member of Watson Run United Church of Christ.

Survivors in addition to her husband, include a son, Richard McMichael of Keystone Heights, FL; three sisters, Mrs. Reddin (Olive) Terrill of Cochranton, Mrs. Allen (Mary) Copeland of Cambridge Springs and Mrs. Russell (Helen) Smith of Cochranton; four brothers, Lawrence E. Free of Erie, W. Lester Free of Atlanta, GA, Sylvester Free of Conneaut Lake and Joseph H. Free of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
