Esther J. Hutchinson

Esther J. Hutchinson, 84, of Meadville, died unexpectedly at Meadville Medical Center Wednesday, December 6, 2000.

She was born in Hayfield Township, December 8, 1915, a daughter of Oscar and Inez Coon Dillaman.  She married Earl L. Hutchinson September 28, 1935, and he preceded her in death November 15, 1980.

She had been employed in the production department of Ohio Rubber Co. of Conneautville retiring in 1977.  She had also worked at one time for Westinghouse if Meadville and Albro Packing Co. of Springboro.

She was affiliated with Littles Corners United Methodist Church and was a member of Valley Senior Center of Springboro.

Survivors include three daughters, Eileen Echart of Meadville, Beverly Murdock (Samuel) of Meadville and Erva Hershelman (Newel) of Saegertown; one son, Ronald Hutchinson (Wanda) of Meadville; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Myrtle Peters of North East, PA and Phoebe Thompson of Amherst, OH.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Cody Hutchinson; one brother, Stanley Dillaman and one sister, Edna Cutshall.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rundeltown Cemetery.
