Ethel E. Bailey

Mrs. Ethel E. Bailey, 84, formerly of New Kensington, a resident of Wesbury since May of 1972, widow of Harry Bailey, died at Wesbury Monday, January 7, 1985. Mrs. Bailey was born at Lawsonham, Clarion County, June 7, 1900, a daughter of Harry and Cora DeVore Fowler. She married Mr. Bailey July 4, 1919, and he preceded her in death on October 11, 1961. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the First United Methodist Church, New Kensington, and of the Marybelle Rebekah Lodge 326 of New Kensington. Survivors include two step-brothers, Clefty E. Swartz of Erie and Clyde F. Swartz of Clarendon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Wilbur Swartz. Service were held at Wesbury with Rev. Martin Hardy, officiating. Interment was in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg. Services Past Services
