Ethel Waid

Ethel Waid, 89, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since November 1983, died there, Wednesday, January 8, 1997 following a period of declining health.
She was born May 2, 1907 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Elliott Fitzgerald. She married Stephen D. Waid June 22, 1927. He died December 28, 1978.
Mrs. Waid was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Waldron of Meadville; three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
