Eugene Harper Wygant

Eugene Harper Wygant, 60, of Meadville, died Saturday, May 10, 1958, at his home.
A native of Venango County, he was born May 23, 1898, a son of Adelbert and Effie Duncan Wygant. He married Vera Russell, June 10, 1926.
He had been employed as a machinist at McCrosky Tool Co. since 1926. Before that, he did work for Oil Well Supple CO. of Oil City.
He was a member of Stone Methodist Church and a graduate of Oil City schools.
Surviving are his widow, a teacher at First District School; three children, Russell Eugene at home, Sara Elizabeth of Fontana, CA and Nancy Jean at home; three brothers, Plumer G. of Albion, Robert R. of Oil City and E. Clyde of San Diego, CA and a grandchild.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, near Franklin.
