Eula M. Oaks

Eula M. Oaks, 33, wife of Carl E. Oaks, of Meadville, died Wednesday, April 5, 1961, at the home of her parents in Corry, after a long illness.

She was born at Corry June 23, 1927, a daughter of Fred and Elsie Lillie Lindsey.  Her wedding date was August 13, 1950.

Until last June, Mrs. Oaks operated a beauty shop at the Park Avenue address.  A graduate of Corry High School, she attended a missionary college at Nyack, NY.

She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church at Corry.

Survivors, in addition to her husband and her parents, include a son, Dennis Carl and a daughter, Constance Susan, at home; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Doris) Celton of Corry; and two brothers, Neil Lindsey of North East and Vea Lindsey of Corry.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
