Eva M. Lewis

Mrs. Eva M. Lewis, 77, of Cochranton, Friday, October 10, 1975, after an illness of three and one-half years.  She had been at the rest home since June.

Born in Peoria, IL, on April 14, 1898, she was a daughter of Alfred D. and Margaret Burkhart Coleman.  She married Dr. John E. Lewis on June 7, 1934.  Mrs. Lewis taught in the public schools in Sharon in her early life for about 20 years.  She was a graduate of Sharon High School and the former Edinboro State Normal School and was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband and cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
