Evelyn G. Yoder

Evelyn G. Yoder, 69, of Conneautville, a former office manager, died Sunday, July 19, 1992, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, of complications following surgery.

She was born in Meadville, August 2, 1922, a daughter of Harold D. and Ethel Bentley Gleason.  She married Wallace D. Yoder.  They divorced.

She retired as office manager at Weber-Harris Ford Agency and previously was employed by Tribune Publishing Co. at the Meadville Tribune and Printcraft.  She was affiliated with Wayland Baptist Church and was a graduate of Cleveland Commercial College.

Survivors include a son, Randy S. Yoder of Conneautville; three sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Ruth) McBride of Meadville, Mrs. Lawrence (Mary Lou) Hillman of Geneva and Mrs. Richard (Helen) Hill of Waynesboro; three brothers, Walter Gleason and John Gleason, both of Meadville and Edward Gleason of Painesville, OH; four granddaughters; two aunts and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Handley.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Wayland.
