Fayetta Walp Gibbs

Mrs. Fayetta Walp Gibbs, of Meadville, died Monday, January 20, 1958, at City Hospital following an illness of a month.

She had taught more than 40 years in Meadville schools.  She began teaching in Second District School then taught commercial studies for several years at the high school.

She was born in Meadville, a daughter of Charles H. and Charlotte Betts Walp.

She was a member of Park Avenue Congregational Church and Meadville Grange.

Surviving are two brothers, Theodore B. and Karl B. Walp, both of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
