Ferne S. Mason

Ferne S. Mason, 66, of Meadville, wife of Bruce T. Mason, died at City Hospital, Tuesday, January 26, 1982, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Meadville, December 12, 1915, a daughter of William and Glennie Saunders Snodgrass. She married Mr. Mason June 17, 1939.
Mrs. Mason was a member of Meadville Study Club, a former member of Meadville Womens' Club and had been a Meals on Wheels volunteer.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gary B. of Mars and Stephen C. of Charleston, SC; her mother of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Blackhurst of Meadville; a brother, William Snodgrass, Jr. of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Rocky Glen Cemetery.
