Florence M. Delvin

Florence M. Delvin, 69, Meadville Care Center, formerly of Philadelphia, a retired executive secretary, died Monday, Agust 26, 1991, at the care center after a long illness.

She was born in Riverton, NJ February 6, 1922, a daughter of Archibald T. and Catherine Lynch Devlin.

She was employed by Aetna Insurance Co. of Philadelphia for 29 years.  She was a member and past president of the Women's Insurance Society of Philadelphia and was a member of the National Association of Insurance Women.

Survivors include two sisters, Julia Howard of Philadelphia and Patricia M. Hunter of Guys Mills; a brother, Archibald Devlin of Oreland and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Eilensfeld; and two brothers, Thomas F. and Joseph E. Delvin.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Bucks County.
