Florence Wolfe

Mrs. Florence Wolfe, 71, of Saegertown, died at City Hospital Sunday, June 11, 1967, following an illness of about six months.

She was born near Sugar Lake, Crawford County, January 6, 1896, a daughter of John and Blanche Wentworth McDill.

She married Charles M. Wolfe on April 3, 1923.

She was a one-time employee of the Meadville Tribune and also worked as a cashier at First National Bank.

Mrs. Wolfe was a graduate of Meadville Commercial College.  She was charter member of Meadville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and was secretary of the Women's Sunday School Class of that church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Jackson (Joan) Cox of Mt. Vernon, NY and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
