Floyd L. Bogardus

Floyd L. Bogardus, 80, of Guys Mills, died at Meadville Medical Center, Thursday, November 20, 1986, after a sudden illness.
He was born at Diamond, PA, December 15, 1905, a son of Leslie and Jessie Bowes Bogradus. He married Sara Tanner, January 16, 1932. Mr. Bogardus retired from Talon, Inc. Plant 7 as a supervisor after 33 years service.
He was a member of the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills and of Randolph Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Stallard of Conneaut Lake, Mrs. Ronald (Virginia) Sanner of Guys Mills and Mrs. James (Janet) Hunter of Meadville; two sons, Bruce L. Bogardus of Mt. Holly, NC and Norman L. Bogardus of Guys Mills; a brother, Kenneth Bogardus of Cooperstown; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Aaron.
Service were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
