Floyd L. Ewing

Floyd L. Ewing, 66, of Meadville, died Friday, March 13, 1959, at City Hospital.

Ewing was born in Wayland, December 16, 18922, a son of Herman and Minnie White Ewing.  He was married to Ethel Kleckner, who died February 22, 1955.

He reitred January 1958, from the American Viscose Corp.  He was a former employee of the Spirella Corset Co. when it operated a plant in Meadville.  He also operated a grocery store at the corner of Alden and Arch Streets.

Ewing was a member of Cussewago Odd Fellows Lodge and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth R. Ewing of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters, Miss Arlene Ewing and Mrs. Charles B. (Blanche) Jelbart, both of Meadville; a brother, Robert H. of Columbus, OH and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cambridge Cemetery.
