Floyd L. Jones

Floyd L. Jones, 83, of Meadville, died at the Methodist Nursing Hospital on Saturday, April 29, 1972.
He was born in Athens Township on March 11, 1889, a son of Robert and Olive Smith Jones. He married Norma Crouch. After her death, he married Florence Joyce in 1950. She died in 1964. Mr. Jones was a retired carpenter. He was associated with Stone Unite Methodist Church and was a member of the Carpenters Union.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence of Los Alamos, NM; a sister, Mrs. Eddie P. (Minta) Miller of Meadville; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Smith Cemetery.
