Frances Troyer Stutzman

Mrs. Frances Troyer Stutzman, 85, of Little Cooley, widow of Floyd Stutzman, died Monday, October 7, 1985, at home following a brief illness.

She was born in Nebraska, January 26, 1900, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Schweitzer Troyer.  She married Floyd Stutzman November 23, 1925, and he preceded her in death October 20, 1981.

Mrs. Stutzman was a member of Little Cooley United Methodist Church, and was a former church treasurer.  She was a volunteer at Meadville City Hospital for many years and was a member of Cambridge Springs Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 114.

Survivors include a son, David Stutzman, Little Cooley; a sister, Mrs. Mary Peiper of Joplin, MO; a brother, Joseph Troyer of Maxwell, NM and three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Phillip, two brother and six sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
