Frank E. Leszek

Frank E. Leszek, 78, of Saegertown, died Saturday, August 6, 2022.

He was born August 12, 1943 in Meadville, a son of Adam and Mary Smolinski Leszek.  He married Jessie Cutshall March 19, 1966 and she preceded him in death July 7, 2021.

Frank was a 1961 graduate of Saegertown High School.  Frank was employed by the American Viscose, Avtex, as owner and operator of Frank Leszek Trucking Company, Zinchiak Manufacturing, Modern Trucking, and retired from Dad’s Pet Care.

Frank was a member of Saegertown American Legion Post 205, VFW Post 169, Venango, and was a lifetime member of Hayfield Township VFD.  He was of the Methodist faith, enjoyed farming, deer hunting, and was a former leader of the Saegertown Sheep and Swine 4-H Club.

A hard worker, Frank always provided for his family and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Survivors include four children, Dawn Henry (Bob), Adam Leszek, Stephanie Sullivan (Boyd), and Trisha Offi (Richard), all of Saegertown; eleven grandchildren, Kellie Eakin (Eric), Kyle Henry (Chelsey), Kurtis Henry, Adam Leszek, Jr., Skylar Leszek, Frankie Leszek, Nick Sullivan (Janine), Samantha Sullivan, Felisha Offi, Anthony Offi, and Dominic Offi (Jules), four great-grandchildren, Levi Eakin, Lucy Eakin, Danielle Offi, and Jameson Sullivan; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Deater.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 10th from 3-6 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Clark officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
