Frank Wayne Rodgers

Frank Wayne Rodgers, 79, of Guys Mills, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2026, at UPMC Hamot, Erie.

He was born on December 5, 1946, in Meadville, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Getty Rodgers. Frank married Jean L. Hines on August 17, 1973.

Frank was a 1967 graduate of Townville High School. He was employed with the PA State Game Commission for 30 years, retiring in 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Rodgers (Rolanda) of Douglasville, GA and Frank Rodgers (Denise) of Saegertown; three grandchildren, Jessica, David and Christopher Rodgers; two great-grandchildren, Mateo and Eren; a brother-in-law, Charles Shaw of Meadville; a brother, Larry Rodgers (Mindy) of Saegertown; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jean, and a sister, Barb Shaw.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday 6-3-2026 at 1:00 PM in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMOTRY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with Pastor Frank Weingard, officiating.
