G. Wilma Griffith
December 30, 1900 — November 20, 1974
Mrs. G. Wilma Griffith, 73, of Guys Mills, died suddenly at her home Wednesday, November 20, 1974, after an extended illness.
A daughter of Emmitt and Jennie VinCamp Burchard, she was born December 30, 1900, in Randolph Township. She had taught at Kerrtown, Geneva, Randolph-East Mead schools and Bethesda Home. She was a member of United Church of Guys Mills, a graduate of Edinboro State College and a member of Randolph Grange.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David (Janet) Marvin of Guys Mills; two sons, Jerry Griffith of Dexter, OR and Blain Griffith of Cortland, OH; three brothers, Harry Burchard of Guys Mills, Willard Burchard of Cumberland, MD and Karl Burchard of New York; three grandchildren, Julie and Donna Marvin and Ronnie Griffith.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery.
