Gaylon A. Clark

Gaylon A. Clark, 81, of Meadville, died Sunday at Hamot Hospital in Erie following a long illness.

He was born in Union City on August 1, 1887, a son of Ezra and Rizpah Bennett Clark.  He married Marie Yochum on October 21, 1915.  Mr. Clark retired as a molder at the American Brake Shoe Plant in 1955.  He was a member of First Baptist Church and Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Donald  E. Clark of Lawrence Park and Vincent L. Clark of Maple Heights, OH; a sister, Mrs. Walter (Mildred) Abby of San Jose, CA; a brother, Raymond Clark of San Jose; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
