George I. Sayre

George I. Sayre, 76, died Sunday morning at City Hospital. He recently had returned from a two-week trip to Colorado to visit relatives.
A resident of Meadville for the past 24 years, he spent his early life in Townville. He had been on the Allegheny College maintenance staff for a number of years.
Survivors include two sons, W. Ellis Sayre of of Meadville and Duane Sayre of Minturn, CO; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Lyona Cemetery.
