George W. Walker

George W. Walker, 88, of Meadville, died Monday, August 8, 1960, at City Hospital, after a short illness.

Mr. Walker was born September 24, 1871, at Mt. Clifton, VA; a son, of Arrown and Barbara Ellen Sheets Walker.  He married the late Alberta Hawkins April 29, 1896.

He retired 36 years ago after serving seven years as a Talon, Inc., plant guard.  He was a member of Grace Methodist Church and its Men's Bible Class.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Brownwood Cemetery.
