Gertrude V. Whitelatch

Mrs. Gertrude V. Whitlach, 96, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Wednesday, September 13, 1972, after a sudden illness.

She was born at Brockway on July 11, 1876, a daughter of Henry B. and Catherine Faust Prindle.  She was the widow of William G. Whitlatch who died in 1915.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Rachel) Seaton of Franklin, IN and Mrs. Helen Foltz of Meadville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Besse Whitlatch of Stoneboro; two sons, Charles B. and Judge Walter G. Whitlach, both of Cleveland; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Norman and a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Sara) Osborne.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Stoneboro.
