Gladys A. Southworth

Mrs. Gladys A. Southworth, 73, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday, July 23, 1977, after an illness of several months.

She was born in Woodcock Township, August 6, 1903, daughter of George and Della Snyder Gilmore.  She married Clyde Southworth March 27, 1922.  He died in 1963.  Mrs. Southworth was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Paul Southworth of Elkhart, IN and Russell Leo Southworth of San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Alice) Ferguson of Meadville; three brothers, Arthur Gilmore of Saegertown, Raymond Gilmore of Woodcock and Russell Gilmore of Meadville; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
